After 16 years working at our wee workshop we have finally had to give it up, our bears though are still available to buy direct from our website.
Scottish Waterways have plans for a shop and maybe a working model of neptunes staircase in the old smiddy and the adjacent building. This hopefully will direct a lot of visitors to the canal which is sadly missed by many thousands of holiday makers when they pass through Fort William.
A selection of Caledonian bears will still be on sale at the new shop when Scottish waterways have it ready, we hope this will be in the summer of 2015 however the details will be on our news page as soon as we have them.
We have really enjoyed the last 16 years at Neptunes staircase as it is a really beautiful spot where we have met so many nice people from Britian and all over the world.
